SRT Services Facilitator Application

THE FACILITATOR ROLE

To help each participant in a group take a step forward in their healing journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain ongoing communication with group participants, co- facilitators and Programs Director prior to the launch.

CO-LEAD GROUP SESSIONS

• Establish and maintain group norms.
• Set the agenda for each group session.
• Facilitate and guide discussions within each session.
• Facilitators are intentional about preparing participants to wrap-up the group.
• Attend training, 1:1 coaching meetings
• Be a team player (not a lone-ranger).
• Be reliable and responsible.
• Help SRT Services identify potential new facilitators and volunteers.

OVERSIGHT

• Have relating story to the groups you facilitate
• Experienced a measure of healing
• Participant graduate

COMMITMENT

• Co-facilitate two 8-week groups per year
• Attend ongoing trainings and huddles as applicable
